English Collective of Sex Workers

The English Collective of Sex Workers invited me for a lovely lunch, at their offices, the Crossroads Women’s Centre. The collective, a network of sex workers who tirelessly campaign hard for decriminalisation, safety and financial resources, and work on the street and indoors – are crucial at this moment when so many people, particularly mothers and other women, are being pushed into sex work by austerity. They, and a number of other groups based at the centre, have worked hard for many years.
