There are 270,000 people in need of urgent assistance, including 125,000 children, following the 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Papua New Guinea this past February. Her Excellency Winnie Kiap, High Commissioner of Papua New Guinea, met me for an illuminating and productive meeting about the damage and recovery process in her country.
