Today, I participated in the Silent Walk along with about 5,000 other people to honour the 72 lives lost one year ago in the tragic Grenfell Tower fire. It was incredibly touching to see the city turn green and be a part of the immense showing of support, including that of our brave firefighters, the survivors, and those closest to the victims. I sincerely hope we as parliamentarians can do the work necessary to ensure a tragedy such as this one never occurs again.
