On the 14th of October, the Latymer Politics Society welcomed me to come and talk to pupils about the current state of British politics. I answered questions regarding the implications of Brexit, the Labour Party, and what my new role as Shadow Secretary of State forInternational Development entails. Pupils of all years attended and asked questions, ranging from immigration policy to issues regarding party electability. It was fantastic how many students from younger years at Latymer are engaged and excited by politics. This is the first of, hopefully, many visits to the school.
