I supported the Refugees Family Reunion Bill to change
the immigration rules to allow children refugees to sponsor
family members to join them. Refugee children have fled
war and famine, as well as other disasters. We should
make their lives easier and safer by providing them with the
legal right to reconnect with family. This will help these
children avoid criminal gangs and more suffering.
